Model Train Show

So, this is the second year we took Tayson to see the model trains. He gets so excited when we get there, but not very happy when he can't touch or play with any of them. Outside the Union Station are trains that are no longer in use, so you can climb on them all you want. We got Tayson up there but as you can see, he was not happy to be up that high.

Outside they have a little train for the kids to ride and Tayson was terrified of it last year, but this year he rode it twice. He had a ton of fun!!

Curious George

Here is Tayson in a new outfit that Gramby bought for him. He still loves to watch Curious George twice a day. I tell him that he is a monkey and he says he knows!!!

Why Brice Wears a Kilt

I love Kilts! That has to be said first. Second, there has been a couple of questions about why I wore the kilt. This particular day was for a holiday in Scotland called Burns Day. Robert Burns is the National Poet of Scotland. On every Jan 25th (Burns Birthday) most Scots get together and have what is called a Burns Supper, with the main course being Haggis. I was not able to attend the supper, so I wore mine to work that day. However, there are many other holidays to wear a kilt. I am going to start wearing mine a little more often, like twice a month. Why? Not really sure. I just love to wear it. It is comfortable and it is something different than the same old pair of pants.

This is Brice in his Kilt. He wanted me to post a picture of him. We have heritage in Scotland and all over Europe, as most people do. This is the McDonald Kilt, he wears it with great pride.

More Random Things

Okay, I haven't done any posts in a while, because we are pretty boring. We like it boring though. For Valentine's day, I did not want any flowers I wanted a new comforter!! So here is my present, I love it, it keeps me sooo warm at night.
And then, my wonderful dad bought me a piano for my birthday. I have been wanting to play more, but it is really hard to when you don't have a piano at your house. Thanks dad and mom, you guys are the best.

The Ugly Post

I am not very good at being tagged so bear with me. Here are some things I need to work on:

1. I am so stubborn. I just think it is sticking to my guns, but I know it is stubborness. I get it from both sides of my parents. And lucky for me, Tayson is just as stubborn.

2. I bit my nails. I have been since I was little. I have tried and tried to grow them out, but it never works very long. Brice hates this bad habit!!

3. I am not very good with our dog Rowdy. He is going to give me ulcers on day. I need more patience with him.

4. Which leads me to, I might not have as much patience as I would like to think. I have to go to time out myself and take a break.

5. I am obsessed with vacuuming. Brice calls me the vacuuming nazi!! It is true, I love to vacuum and I need to play with Tayson more!!

6. I need a filter for my mouth. I am going to apologize right now to anyone I have said something dumb to. I always say Brice needs a filter, but I need on just as bad. So sorry for anything I might have said.

7. I get on my blog at least two to four times a day. It is insane, and most of the time nothing changes, I just have to check.

8. I am very sensitive. I have a hard time taking jokes, most of the time from Brice. Something I need to work on.

Feel free to add more, but that is all I can think of. Believe me I have a lot of flaws, working on them everyday. So please forgive me!!

Cousins Playing Together

Tayson and Maddy have so much fun together! Yes, Tayson is only wearing his underwear. He would go around being naked if I let him!! Maddy can walk pretty good now. Tayson always thinks she is chasing him, but she is just trying to catch him!!
