Utah Scottish Association Tartan Ball

On Friday the 23rd, Brice and I got to go down to SLC and go to a Tartan Ball. Pretty much everyone gets to wear there kilts and you get feed. The parking was a joke. You were supposed to park at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, but it was full. So we parked in a parking lot behind the church office building, but we didn't have to pay!! We got right when dinner was supposed to start, but they were running late, yea for us. So we had our picture taken, that will come in another post. We had roast beef with rolls, salad, and squash potatoes. It was a good meal. Brice looked very nice in his kilt and he was glad he got to go once, I don't know if we will ever go again, but it was a nice evening away from the kids. Thanks mom and dad for watching them!!

Six Months Old

My little girl is six month old. I took her to the doctor and she weighs 16 pounds and is 26 inches long. She is 50% on her weight and 70% on her height. She had to have four shot, poor thing. They say she looks good and is growing well. She loves her big brother. She tries to reach out and grab him all the time. She loves to grab whatever I am holding in my hands. She loves any kind of orange food and hates the green ones. She eats all of her fruits and loves her bottle. She can roll over, but she gets mad because she hates being on her belly. She sleeps through the night and most of the time has good naps. We love her so much!!

Classic Fun Center

On Tuesday we went to the fun center in Layton. You can pay 7.50 for the bouncing, pirates ship, ten tokens and skate rental from ten until five. I think it's a pretty good deal. If you go when everyone else is in school, than it is even better. Here is Tayson about to go down the slide in the pirates cove.
Here is Tayson, Ethan and Emily. Tayson and Ethan are best friends and had so much fun together. We even got a pizza there for lunch. Thanks Ethan and Emily for go with us!!

Easter Fun

Sorry, the pictures are backwards. Also, I did not take very many pictures. Easter morning was recorded on the camcorder so I didn't get the camera out. Here they are after Easter. Ember is in her pj's and Tayson is going to get his on. Ember got a dress and two books. Tayson got the shirt he has on with some shorts, candy, books, spiderman stuff and two movies. Brice got clothes and some candy. It was a good day. We spent the morning up at Brice's parents house watching conference and eating doughnuts and pizza. Then we went and watched the second half at my parents house and had chicken and potatoes.
At my parents house, Emilee and Chase hid some eggs outside and here is Tayson opening one of them. They had money inside, I think those are the best kind of eggs!!
Here Tayson is hunting for the eggs. He had so much fun this year looking for eggs. We had a hunt inside our house in the morning, way to cold outside. I am truly blessed to have a wonderful husband and two beautiful kids. I am also very blessed to be a member of the church and to know that the Savior lives and that he has made it possible to live with him again.

Tayson's Stats

Tayson went to the Dr. on Monday to have his kindergarten check up. He was 37 pounds and is 43 inches tall. 70% in his height and 50% in his weight. He had to have four shots in his legs. I had to bring Brice because I can't hold him down. Poor little guy hated getting shots, but he doesn't have to have any until junior high, thank goodness. He was so brave on everything else. The doctor said he is healthy and ready to go the kindergarten!!

Rob's Frosted Rock Creamery

Tayson got to go see how ice cream is made at the creamery in Roy with his preschool. He had so much fun watching them make the ice cream. He got to have a mix after it was made and he chose marshmallows. He ate about three bites and was done. He is still my picky eater and eats like a bird. But I am guessing one day when he is older he will eat way more!!
Here they are at the table before the tour. All boys and no girls at this table. Thanks Miss Misty for a fun filled trip. Putting Tayson in preschool has been one of the best decisions ever. He has learned so much about his ABC's and he can even recite the pledge of Allegiance. He is so excited to go to kindergarten and learn more.

What's Up!!!

Here is my little what's up girl!! I loved this outfit she got and couldn't resist putting the hood on. She is all wet because she just ate and got washed off.
Here she is almost smiling. She loves the bouncer, I am sure glad she does 'cause Tayson hated it.
