Tayson's Baptism: Part 1

Tayson was so excited for July 6th 2013 to come so he could be baptized.  Here he is with Brice before we headed to the church.
Here he is holding his baptism book that Gramby gave him.  Everyone that came got to sign his book and write a few words.
I love this picture of these two.  Ember was having a little bit of a tough time because the focus was on Tayson the whole day.
You all know how much I love my picture taken, so don't look at me look at that little boy in the front that is smiling from ear to ear!!
I was very proud of him for making the decision to be baptized.
Here are Gramby and Grandpa at the church before the baptism.
Here is Daxton and Tayson before.  Dax was able to some and Tayson was really excited that he got to be there.  I can't believe how much Dax has grown.
Here are grandma and grandpa before the baptism.
These two have the cutest faces here.
Here is Tayson with Aunt Kenzie.  We were so glad they come to see Tayson's special day.

Fourth of July Parade

We have been going to the Riverdale 4th of July parade and this year wasn't any different.  I posted this picture because this is the only one that looked okay.  I tried to get them both to look at me but they wouldn't.  I also love Tayson's face in this one.
Here is Brice holding the umbrella for us.  He loves going to parades!!

Swimming Lessons 2013

Tayson loves to swim and so every year he is in swimming lessons and loves it.  I put him in level 2 again, but it was a good thing because he got better.  Here he is all ready to start his class.
This is Tayson doing a back float down the pool.  That girl wasn't moving quite as fast as Tayson wanted her to.

Pine Wood Derby

This is the only good photo I got before my camera battery died!!  This was Tayson's first pine wood derby.  Brice was at scout camp during the race but helped make the car before he left.  Tayson had a good time going and can't wait for next year's derby.

Tayson's Eighth Birthday

Holy cow, Tayson turned 8 on June 19th 2013.  He has been waiting to be 8 since he turned 7 last year.  Here he is opening a present.
He got a scout shirt from Gramby and Grandpa.  He was super excited about that.
He got a McDonald's gift card from Uncle Chad and Aunt Mary.  He loved Mcdonalds and was super excited about it.
He got this awesome truck and trailer from Grandma and Grandpa Gibson.  He also got that blue ball from Aunt Emilee and Uncle Chase.  Aunt Amanda and Uncle Kasey got him a cool star wars lego and water guns.
Here is everyone hanging out.  Instead of cake, I bought Popsicles and otter pops for everyone.  They seemed to be a big hit.  He did have cupcakes for his friend party so he still got cake!!
Here he is with Parry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb.  I actually bought it in Disneyland and hid it from him.  He was so surprised when he opened it.  He also got legos, books, movie, money, blanket and some clothes.  Brice was at Scout Camp the whole week so Tayson was a little sad he wasn't there, but he did get to talk to him on the phone.
He got to have a friend party.  They had some pizza and then they jumped on the tramp with the sprinkler and played with water balloons.  It turned out to be a good party.  I have to say a big thank you to my mom for helping me out that day!!
Here are all his buddies that came.  They are enjoying ice cream cones and cupcakes!!
This is the birthday boy with his birthday button that I got from Disneyland too.  He was so excited to have a birthday button!  He is growing up so fast.  He loves Legos and building all sorts of things out them.  He loves math and hates reading.  He favorite food right now is Pizza Lunchables.  He loves having friends over and playing legos.

Ember's Play Group

This year for Ember she got to have a playgroup once a week.  She loved going and so at the end of the school year we went to Hooper Park and let them play and have lunch.  Here is Ember going down the big metal slide.
Here is a close up of her going down.  As you can see her face says it all!!
Here she is playing with Ava.
Here are the other two girls, Ava, Ember and Ellie.  We had more at the beginning of the year, but things happened and so we ended up with only three in the playgroup.  Ember didn't care she was excited every Wednesday to go to someone's house or have it at our house.
