Merry ChrISTmas Part 2

Yes these are backwards, but oh well. We tried to get the kids to act out the nativity, but they just would not do it, so the adults did. Here is the only sheep, she kept the ears on for quite a while.
Here is grandpa opening Buzz Lightyear for Tay.
Here is Ember opening her computer from Gramby and Pappa. As you can tell Tayson did most of the unwrapping for her.
I know Valerie is going to love this picture, but she had on such a cute hat I had to put in on. We were blessed again up at Brice's parents house!!

MErry CHRIstmas

Yes, Santa found our house. It was quite the Christmas for us. Tayson waits 364 days for it to come and he got sick on Christmas Eve. He got a nasty cold, but when Christmas morning came he jumped out of bed. He wasn't 100%, but he did great. I am such a slacker and didn't get any pictures at home, Brice recorded all of it though. So here is at my mom and dad's house. We got there every year to have the BEST breakfast ever!! Ember was a little warm and so here she is in her diaper with a new toy.
Tayson and Maddy had a ball. They are helping me get Ember's toy out.
Here we are with all of the loot. Chase is giving us a great pose.
Tayson is wondering if there is any more presents to open!!
Ember is chilling with her dad with her new doll. Thanks to everyone for the gifts and to Santa who did not disappoint. We are truly blessed.

Before I Forget...

I don't think this post will have pictures, but I wanted to write it down before I forget some of the things that happened to Ember. I found a picture and had to put it up!! On Nov. 3rd, she came down with a fever after nap. I gave her a little bit of Tylenol and she went to bed just fine. The next morning she woke up with no fever and was fine. Well, right after her nap she had the fever again, but was eating and playing. She went to bed just fine that night. She woke up on the 5th of Nov. and felt a tiny bit warm, but nothing really to bad. Again after nap she woke up with a fever again, but this time she was way warm. I took her temp. and it said 101. Brice was home by now and told me to call the dr. and of course they didn't answer. By now she is crying hysterically and nothing will calm her down. I finally get a hold of the dr. and they tell me to bring her in. We get there and she now has a fever of 104 and they find an ear infection. We get her some antibiotics and they tell me to give her Tylenol and Advil, rotating the two. We go home that night and she is pretty subdued, she just layed by her dad the whole night until bedtime. When I went to put her down I told Brice she feels like she is on fire, I am not kidding you. We decide to let the Tylenol work and put her down. I go up and take a bath and Brice is at the computer when he hears her moaning a lot. He decides to go check on her and runs upstairs with her yelling at me to come down. I come down and I see her and she is having a seizure. I take her from his arms and tell him to call 911. At his point I am trying to remember my ninth grade health class and what to do when someone as a seizure. I take her to the couch and lay her on her back and try and talk to her. By now the 911 operator is telling Brice to watch her and when she is done with the seizure make sure she is still breathing and to put her on her side. The seizure only lasted about one minute, but that was one long minute for us. The ambulance came and put oxygen on her and gave her more Tylenol and took us up to the ER. I rode in the ambulance with her and Brice followed us in the car. When we got to the hospital her fever was at 103. The nurse happened to me someone I went to school with and so that was nice. We were there about three hours. They ran a test for a urinary tract infection and they saw the infected ear as well. They sent us home with her fever down to 100 and told us to alternate the Tylenol and Advil every three hours. As a parent that was so scary for both me and Brice. I was actually pretty calm and Brice was the nervous one. He did find her though and that really shook him up. Tayson slept through the whole thing thank goodness. We have wonderful parents who came and watched stayed at the house and came to the hospital. Wonderful neighbors and siblings who care so much for our little girl. Thanks to the Bishop and first counselor for coming up to the hospital. I am truly blessed to have the priesthood in my home. Ember got a blessing from her dad and uncle and I know that helped. I am so thankful for a loving Father in Heaven who blessed me with a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. It happened over a month ago and Ember is doing great. It all started because a molar wouldn't break through!!!

So I dragged my family down to the Union Station the first part of October and made them take some family pictures. Here are my two monkeys. This was at the end so it was nice to see Ember smiling and Tayson not getting mad.
Here is the whole family. Tayson is saying cheese if you couldn't tell.
Here we are with us kids and my mom. I think they turned out great!

Well here are the two munchkins. Ember does not cooperate very well. Tayson was a pit crew guy and Ember was a lion.
No smile, but at least she looked at the camera.
Here is my favorite dude!!!
Here is Brice in his costume as a student. His students were freaking out and thought he looked hip. I think he looks pretty hot!!

Eating Pasta

Ember LOVES any kind of pasta. This is her first time having it and she gobbled it all up.

Ember is One!!

Okay picture overload, beware. I always do the pictures backwards, but that's okay. Here is Ember after all of the gifts were open. She only has a shirt on cause after her cake the clothes came off.
This is the after the cake. That is grandpa's hand getting ready to feed her ice cream. As you can tell she loved her cake. She was not afraid of it at all.
This is her tasting it. Wondering if its okay to have these in front of her!!
This is the cake by her wonderful Aunt Kenzie. The rest of us had cupcakes filled with strawberry cream, yummy! Thank you Kenzie for another wonderful cake.
Here is dad getting a vacuum ready to play with. She got a teacup set, a cabbage patch doll, clothes, a bug that does all sorts of stuff, a pink bus and lots of love. She wasn't too sure what was going on, but her brother was way excited for her birthday.
Tayson is trying to help her open her gifts.
This should have been at the first, but oh well. We went to Applebee's on her birthday, she was way excited. Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate, we sure had a fun day.

Here Tayson is holding what we thought was a wacumber, but was actually a cantaloupe.
Here Tayson is getting all muddy. Luckily it was just his hands.
Here is the little muddy boy again. We love him.

How Tayson Entertains Ember

Is It A Puppy?

No, it's just my little girl thinking she is a puppy. She loves to put that ball in her mouth and crawl around the floor. As of late it just isn't the ball anymore, it's just about anything she can find!!

And then for some reason Tayson decided to be a puppy to and put this bear in his mouth. I have some fun kids!! We love em!

The Frontrunner

Before school started, we took Tayson on the Frontrunner the Saturday before. My mom came with us and it was fun. Tayson has been on it before and loves to ride it down to Salt Lake. We went to the Gateway and ate at Applebees. And then we stopped at the chocolate factory and got a peanut butter bucket. It was a huge peanut butter cup!! I wish I would have taken a picture.
This is the ride home. Here is Tayson trying to entertain Ember. Brice was really awake!!
Here is my cute boy who loves to ride the train.

First Day of Kindergarten

Tayson's first day of kindergarten was on September 1st. He was so excited and of course mom gets the pictures backwards. This is when it was all done and he came home. This boy would not tell me anything. The rest of the day was not good. He is such a boy!! Going to kindergarten was no problem, it was the after that was not so good. But we have adjusted to not asking him about his day and waiting until he has had some time to adjust.
This is the before going to kindergarten. I can't believe he is five and going to school. It is crazy how time flies. He did have a good day, he just doesn't want to talk about it!!!

A Late Post

Here is Tayson at the 24th of July parade in Ogden. As you can see he is eating his breakfast!! I could only get this picture before my camera batteries died.
Tayson loves the Roy Aquatic Center. We had to buy a punch pass because it was way cheaper. He loves to go down the big slide but needs a little help. This picture is the best I could do!!

Weber County Fair

My mom and me took Tayson to the Weber County Fair. He had a pretty good time, but he loved this trampoline. My mom was kind enough to pay for it and away he went. He had no fear.
It was hard to get pictures will he was on the trampoline, so this was as good as I could get.
We had to go see all of the old tractors so we could get a pin for Grandpa John.
Another old tractor. Thanks to dad for staying home with Ember will she took her nap!!
