Family Pictures

Back in October, Brice grabbed his tripod and camera and we went and took family pictures up at Beus Pond.  It was raining, but we took pictures anyways!!  I think they turned out great.
 They are getting so big.
I don't really like my picture, but I put one up just because.
Brice got a picture of Ember jumping!
Me and my girls!!

Ember's Six Birthday

This girl was so excited to turn six.  As you can see, Sawyer wanted in on the action.
Tayson and Sawyer are photo bombing the picture!!  She got an Anna dress, jewelry box, new play food, a frozen game.  She was a good trooper in the morning.  Me and Brice had eye appointments, but then we went to Applebee's for her birthday lunch.  She asked for a red cake with white frosting.  so I made cupcakes and one single cake and turned it into a 6.  I don't really creative, so I thought the six was good on my part!!  She blew the candles out before we sang to her and could get a picture.  But I love this little girl, who is not so little anymore.

Tayson made her a sign, and it says happy birthday on it.  I suppose me and Sawyer didn't need to be in the picture..  Ember is in Kindergarten and has Mrs. Venable for her teacher.  She loves taco salad and potato soup.  She loves to write her letters and play games.  She loves to use her imagination and she loves to play with Kelsie her cousin.  She is a good sister to Sawyer and misses Tayson when he is gone.  She has a big heart and a big smile.  We love you princess!!

Ember's First Tooth, Gone!

Ember lost her first tooth right before her 6th birthday!!  It fell out while she was eating dinner, its a good thing she didn't swallow it.  The tooth fairy brought her a dollar for her tooth.
I had to put this picture up, she is so cute!!

First Day of School

So this little boy, not so little anymore is in Fifth Grade!!  I can't believe it...  He would not smile normally for me!
This little girl, is in Kindergarten this year.  They grow so fast!!  She is going to Hooper Elementary and Tayson is going to Freedom Elementary.

Weber County Fair

It finally came. After all the hard work Tayson put in to raising a lamb, we got to go to the Weber County Fair.  The fair is four days, but some days we only went to feed the lambs and then left.  This picture is the last day of the fair.  We were waiting for Tayson to sell his lamb, so we were having lunch in the back of the van.
Ember and Sawyer were really good sports the whole time we were there.  Ember is showing some of her prizes so got at the Library games.  She also had her face painted.
Here is Tayson waiting to sell his lamb.
This is what Sawyer was doing while I was helping Tayson and trying to take good pictures.
Here he is in the arena.  UT Kilts bought Tayson's lamb.  Brice and Chad had a bidding war to get the price per pound up.  It worked and I believe Tayson got in the range of five dollars a pound.
Here he is after he sold Rico.
He is saying goodbye to his lamb.  He didn't think he would be sad, but he cried and I did to.  You get attached, even if the animal makes you mad most of the summer.  It was a good experience for Tayson and I am glad he got to raise a lamb.  I am saying this after three months have passed!!
This was the pen he had with Tanner's lamb.  Ember is so cute in this picture.  Good job buddy!!

Tayson's Lamb

So... This year we decided it was good year for Tayson do raise an animal for the fair.  We choose lamb because that's all mom did growing up and could help him the best in raising it.  Karen's little boy Tanner did a lamb too.  Here Tayson is washing his lamb before it gets a trim to go to the fair.  My pictures I have are out of order, but you get the idea!!
He wouldn't look up at me.  His lamb's name was Rico and Tanner's was named Cocoa.  Tayson's lamb weighed in at 134 pounds and he took fourth in his class.  Pretty good for a first timer.  Brice actually bought his lamb, but we then sold it to the packer.
Giving it a good wash.  It was hard at first to feed it everyday and walk it and work with it.  We had some struggles and some fights, but in the end Tayson cried when he said goodbye to Rico.  We all got a little sad, we got attached even though Rico was a stubborn animal.
This picture should have been at the first, This is when they first got the lambs.  They were about two months old and Tayson is trying to put the halter on to feed them.
If only Rico would have looked up!!  Tayson learned alot about himself and raising an animal.  He said he wants to do it again, but me and Brice are still sitting on the fence on that decision!!

Roy Days Parade

We went to the annual Roy Days parade.  Brice was at home sick and sleeping so it was just me and the kids.  Me and Emilee did the royals walk and so she tagged along with me to the parade.  Sawyer had a great time this year.  She is trying to grab the camera while I take a picture.
Tayson was with Extreme Tumbling and Cheer float.  Ember could have ridden on the float but didn't want to.  Here she is enjoying the parade.
 How cute is this picture!!
Poppie and Gramby came too.  Tayson was getting a drink of water when the float went by and so we didn't even see him... Oh well, he had a good time and that's what is important.

Kids

Sawyer loves her big brother.  He is feeding her goldfish in this picture.  He is my big helper and will watch her while I fix dinner or throw some clothes in the washer.
Ember saw me taking a picture and had to get in on the action.
How cute is Sawyer??  She love to eat and here she is eating spaghetti!!  I love all three of my kids.  They all have different personalities and sometimes they drive me bananas, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Tayson's 10th Birthday

Tayson turned 10 on June 19th!!  I can't believe he is in the double digits...  I still remember him as baby.  He might always be my baby boy.  Here is his loot.  He got a new bike helmet, pass to IFly, puzzles, clothes, board games and legos.
Sawyer photo bomb his picture!!  He is one happy boy!!
If you couldn't tell, I wrapped all his presents in newspaper.  He didn't seem to mind, he just wanted was in the wrapping so he didn't care what I wrapped it in.  He loves to play Minecraft, ride his bike, tumble, play with his best friend Ethan.  He LOVES eating chips and he loves to spend time with both sets of grandparents.  He is in the fifth grade and loves math.  He has strong testimony of the Gospel and we love him and are so proud of him!!  Happy birthday buddy!

Brice's Birthday

Brice turned the Big 36 on June 13th.  Every year the annual Scottish festival is either on his birthday or the same weekend.  So we packed everyone up and headed down.  They look so handsome in their kilts.
One with all the family.  Sawyer is sitting on the ground by the stroller.
These are two handsome young men.  We stayed for a little while and then headed to smash burger for some lunch.  Later in the week we went to Ogden Pizzeria for dinner.

Sawyer's 1st Birthday

Can you believe it, Sawyer turned one on June 11th 2015.  She is getting help from big brother in opening her presents.
She is trying to do it all by herself.
Tayson and Ember waiting for her to open her gifts.  She got a puppy that talks, a bath book, bath toys, a pop up toy and a small swimming pool.
She also gets to share her birthday with her cousin Cecily.  Emilee had her on June 11th too.  Everyone who could come over did and she got a blueberry cupcake for her birthday. She loved it and ate the whole thing.
As you can see, she had no problems eating her cupcake.  She weighs 23 pounds and has been walking since she was 10 months old.  She won't hold her bottle and has to have her formula mixed with whole milk.  She loves any kind of fruit and vegetable, but strawberries and mashed potatoes are her favorites.  She loves to play outside and loves to follow her sister and brother around.  She gives hugs quite often and has started to wear shoes.  We love you Sawyer Jean and are so happy you are in our family!!

Park City Trip

Last year we went to this Park City hotel with a pool and the kids loved it, so right after school got out we went back to spend the night, but mostly to play in the pool.  Sawyer had a great time her little floatie device.  Gramby is pushing her around.
Ember is loving the pool.  She is half fish..
Brice braved the cool pool and got in.  I took pictures so you won't see me in the pool.
As you can see Tayson's hand is trying to photo bomb the picture.
They all are looking at me this time.
Tayson and Ember are pulling weird faces with weird moves.  Loves those two.
 Grandpa is relaxing.
They have a pool outside and a hot tub and so these three are outside in the hot tub.  As long as you stayed in  the water it wasn't cold.  This was at the end of May, so in Park City it wasn't super hot.
Another picture with Gramby and dad photo bombing.
Tayson with his peace signs.
