This Never Happens!!

Here a few pics. This one of me and Brice is us on the boat before we set sail. And the pic below is before we got on the boat. More pics to come!!! Enjoy.

Let me explain that title a little bit. On Feb. 19th we were headed to Texas to board a cruise ship with all of Brice's family. We left Ember home and Brad and Kenzie left Brinlee home to. We all got there sometime on Friday and then on Sat. we went to board our ship. Everything was going fine until we realized we needed a passport or a copy of a birth cert. to get on the ship. Well no one had these things except for Sarah and Casey. We spent the next 3 and a half hours calling home getting someone to find them and fax them. If only Carnival had those requirements in bold letters, it would not have happened to us. Our ship did not come in by then so we thought we were doing good, only to realize that is was the beginning of two long days of trying to get on the ship. The fog was so dense that the ship could not come in on Sat., so we had to find a hotel on Sat. and come back on Sunday and hope it had come in. We had small blessings throughout this process and even though it was not the cruise we had hoped for, we did have fun on the ship. We finally boarded the ship at midnight on Sunday, which really is Monday morning now. We did not set sail until Monday at noon. So you guessed it right, we did not get to go to any ports. It was called three fun days at sea. They had a water slide, mini golf, hot tubs, pool, shows, comedian and lots of other stuff to do. We just would have liked to go to Mexico and let Tayson and the other kids play in the ocean. We understood the fog was not Carnival's fault, but they way they handled the situation was their fault. We did enjoy each others company and we got to see Brice's two brothers that live out of state. It was definitely a vacation to remeber. Thanks to Randy and Valerie for taking us and even though it was not was we expected, we sure had an adventure!!!!

Wow that sounds like quite the adventure. That is definitely not what you want to happen on a cruise. At least the boat had lots of fun things for you guys to do!!!
