Lights at Temple Square

Here is Tayson on the table at Crown Burgers. We went there to eat after seeing the lights. Tayson wanted to stick his hand in the water at Temple Square, but Grandpa told him there was fish in there and they would bite his hands!! So from then on he asked dad if he could stick his hand in the water. It was way cold!!
Here we are in front of the visitors center. I just love going down to Temple Square. We had a picture with more lights in it, but I put the camera on the wrong setting!! Thank you for the Lythgoe family for putting up with my crazy ideas!! We are very thankful to have Brice's brother and wife here for the holidays. Thanks Trent and Wendy for coming and being so awesome.

Random Things

Okay, this game is called Hit the Spot. It is fifty years old and my dad got it for me for Christmas. He has one at home at it is very fun to play. Tayson loves to play with it. You have a ball and you put it on the other end and you try and get it to the other end without it dropping through!!
Here is Tayson in a way cute outfit given to him by his Gramby and Grandpa. He will be a sunbeam next week. They grow so fast. We just wanted to wish everyone a happy and successful new year.

Christmas

Tayson wanted to go out in the snow, so we suited him up and he only lasted about three minutes.
He wanted to help everyone open up their presents. He is helping Gramby right now. He was so cute on Christmas.
He would tear open a present and then move on to the next one!!
He got a bike from Santa. He was so excited that he rode it out in the snow. Did not last long, before he came back in. We had a wonderful Christmas. It was awesome to spend it with family and I am so grateful to have to the Gospel in my life to know about the birth of the Savior and to carry that same spirit the rest of the year. Happy New Year!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Village

Tayson thought the best part of the Christmas village was the playland they had. Here he is going down the slide with a flash light that Grandpa got him.

Friends

I was able to watch one of Tayson's friend Crew. They had so much fun playing all day. They ran around the bed, played with trucks, watched Thomas the Engine and played with cars. He had so much fun, he was worn out by the time they left.

Christmas Parties

Okay, this past weekend we had two Christmas parties. We had the Gibson family party on Friday and a friend Christmas part on Saturday. Thank you to every one who helped out by bringing food and showing your support. Thanks to all of those who came to the party on Saturday. We had a lot of fun, for those of you who missed it!! Merry Christmas!!!

Setting Up the Christmas Tree

Tayson loved putting all the bulbs up!! He put about eight on one branch. He had so much fun decorating the tree.

Potty Training

Tayson is finally going in the big potty. He just started yesterday and it has been so fabulous to not change any diapers. I am a little sad though. He is growing up and he is not my little boy anymore!! But yea for going in the big potty.

Joy school Thanksgiving Feast

Tayson had a Thanksgiving feast for joy school today. They had olives, cheese, rolls, mashed potatoes, pinapple, apples, apple juice and turkey. They made turkeys out of apples and marshmellows. The kids were the pilgrims and the moms were the indians. It was way cute.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I am really grateful for this time a year. To be able to be with family and to remember all that we are thankful for. I am truly blessed. I have a wonderful husband who works a night job so I get to stay home with my little boy. I am truly grateful for the Gospel in my life. My Heavenly Father blesses me so much that the list would go on forever. I have wonderful parents and in laws whom I love very much and am so grateful for all that they do for me. I just want to wish everyone out there a happy thanksgiving and hope that we all can find something everyday to be thankful for.

Let Me Out!!!

I needed to clean the kitchen, so I put up the gate so Maddy couldn't go down the stairs and her and Tayson played in the hallway for quite some time.

I get the privilege of watching my niece Maddy a couple times during the week. Tayson loves to have her over, that is until she starts playing with his toys!!! They were playing with and old Mcdonald see and say and they were being so cute. Of course, as soon as I got the camera, they just looked at me.

Tayson's Messy Room

Look at that mess!! What is so amazing is he just dumps things out and then leaves. Such a little boy!! We are trying to potty train him, and he is pretty stubborn about it. We tell him we will buy him new toys if he goes in the big potty, but he just tells us, he already has toys at home. So if anyone has any suggegtions, let me know.

Tayson's Pumpkins

Tayson loves his pumpkins. He got mad at me when I threw two away. He thinks we get to keep them all year long. Thanks to Aunt Judy for the fun faces we got to put on our pumpkins.

Joy School Halloween Party

Tayson had such a good time at his joy school halloween party. He is dressed as Curious George. There was a turtle, bee jock, princess, bumblebee, pirates, and witches. They made hot dog mummies and ate donuts off of a string. They had a cake walk and sang a fun song for all of the parents.

Sunday Afternoon

Here we are at my parents house, enjoying the nice October weather. Tayson is pulling Maddy in the tractor and then Chad wanted a turn as well. Kasey and Brice were shooting some hoops and my dad had the camcorder going.

Punkinaze

We all went to the Punkinaze last Monday. All Tayson wanted to do was go up and down the big slides they have. We did get him to go in the corn maze, but only for about five minutes and it was back to the slide.

Annual Halloween Party

Let's see. I was dressed up as the color blue, Tayson was Curious George and Brice had his kilt on, so you could say he was a Scottish guy. We ate intestine, bat wings and worms. We had stubby fingers with puss and cat barf on the side, with dirty water to drink. And for dessert we had bat cupcakes. It was an awesome party and thank you to Gramby and Grandpa for having us over and showing us a good time. Brinlee was adorable in her pumpkin outfit. She had her costume on, but she gets hot!! Gramby was the queen and Grandpa was the king.

Pumpkin Patch

I hope Gramby doesn't mind me putting up her picture!! We went to Cochran's produce and ate spudnuts and drank root beer. Tayon love running up and down the trail that was lined with pumpkins. It was way to cold for October.

Snow and Robots

Brice is standing outside with Tayson as he mows the snow we got on Sunday the 13th. Crazy to have had snow already. Then, Tayson wanted to make a robot out of his diaiper box and so that is what we did.

Treehouse Adventures

As you can tell, Tayson loves all sorts of activities. He can have cake and then go play with the trains.

Future Firefighter

We went to the Treehouse and and as you can see, Tayson loves to drive the fire trucks.

Anniversary

We made it seven years!!! Today October 3rd is our 7th anniversary. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple on October 3rd, 2001. We have one little boy named Tayson and he is three years old. I get to stay home with him and Brice teaches Spanish at Sandridge Jr. High and works three nights at the ATC. It has been a wonderful seven years and I love you Brice.

Farm Day

All of Tayson's joy school friends came over to the farm on Monday. They got to see a pet turkey, baby calf, baby pigs, goats, horses and goldfish. They went on a pony ride and loved to play in the treehouse. A special thanks to my dad for all of his hard work into making the farm day a success. Yes, Tayson is the ringleader and is trying to corner the pigs to catch them!!
