The Treehouse does this annual event for members of the Treehouse. They call it cookies and milk with Santa, only you don't eat the cookies with Santa. You do get to see Santa in the theater and the expression on Tayson's face was priceless when he came in. So for that reason we will probably be going next year. It was madness though, kids everywhere you turned!! This is Ember posing for the camera.

Here is my little Tayson, waiting for the steam engine 844. It comes to Odgen once maybe twice a year and we got to see it come into the Union Station. There were a ton of people there, but we still got to see it.
It was pushing passenger cars. So Tayson thought we could get on and ride it, but that was not the case. They did set up a bridge so you could see inside of it, but there was too many people.
This is the last half of the steam engine. It is the only one in the US that still works. Tayson has watched a dvd on it and would love to ride it sometime!!
We had a great Thanksgiving. We had the annual Turkey shoot and Tayson found out that he likes to shoot the BB gun. All day long all I heard was how he wanted a BB gun. Of course, I did not take any pictures of the shoot or eating dinner, but I got pictures after. I decided to try and make gingerbread houses. Amanda was great and made the frosting. This is cute Maddy with hers all decorated. I think they turned out good.
Here is my sweet Ember with no clothes on. She was helping with the dishes and was getting all wet so off went the clothes. Her little gingerbread house in pictured there.
You can't see Tayson's face, but that is him decorating his house. We went with a flat roof, it was better for Tay. 
Here are my two awesome parents. I am sooo thankful for all they do for me. I couldn't have asked for better parents. Thanks mom and dad for raising me the way you did and for teaching me the value of a good day's work. I love you both and my kids are so lucky to have you as grandparents.
Brice was just wiped out from all of the fun we had. Yes, Tayson is playing the tablet!!
I couldn't leave her out of my post. Her shirt says Grandma's pie taster and she loved the pies. We are truly blessed and couldn't have had a better Thanksgiving.
For Ember's birthday Randy and Valerie got her a pass to the Treehouse. She has been there before, but she did not remember much. She loved the kitchen area and watching the fish. She also loved the area with the huge train you can climb through.
Every time we try and take her picture, she tilts her head back. Sometimes you can get a good picture and this one turned out okay. We had fun the day we went and we be going back.
This is the only photos I have of Halloween. We had a parade the Friday before Halloween and that was fun. On Halloween we went to my mom's trunk or treat and then came home for more trick or treating. Tayson's favorite part of Halloween is handing out the candy. Ember was Snow White and would only wear the dress for a little bit. Tayson was Spiderman without the mask.

We had the opportunity to go to Black Island Farms. I have never been, so this was an experience for all of us. Here are some of the kids waiting to go on the tractor ride. Don't mind my shadow!!
We finally got on a trailer and here Ember is pulling a face. She wanted me to hold her and I am just not willing to do that all of the time. It is a cute face though!
They take about carrots and then they take you over to pick out a pumpkin. Here is Tayson and Ethan with their picks. 
After the ride we went to see all of there slides, games, bounce house that they had. Here is Ember going down the slide by herself. I like I got a pretty good shot.
They had this huge thing of kernels of corn that you could play in. Tayson is trying to bury himself in it.
They had tractor tires all over the place and Ember was having a grand time climbing on them.
So they have this train ride and it takes you in a big circle. The kids loved it, but me not so much. It was way bumpy, but it was meant for kids not adults. Tayson and Ethan have so much fun together. Thanks to Stephanie for inviting us along, we had a great time.
Okay on Sunday, we decided to take the two hour drive and go see Universal Studios. It was awesome. I don't have that many pictures, because Brice was filming alot of it. Once again it was not that busy at all. We got on all of the rides within minutes and saw all of the show without too much waiting. This is the front of the entrance before going in.
This is Brice rubbing the belly of Jaws. There were quite a few people trying to take pics in front of it so this is all I could get. I had a picture with Curious George, but my dumb camera won't let me get it off. We took a tour around all of the movie making sets. That was awesome to see. Brice got to see the clock tower where they filmed Back to the Future. The tour was the longest wait, but it was only about 20 minutes. The weather was great and I even got hot. 
For lunch they had a Bubba Gump's outside of Universal Studios, so we had to go. This is the only dessert Brice will eat at a restaurant. It is a warm chocolate chip cookie on the bottom and then vanilla ice cream on the top with cool whip. It is heavenly!!
They had this quaint Paris restaurant and Brice had to have a picture. I was the one taking the pics, so sorry guys to pics with me in them.

This is right after we rode the Mummy ride. It was scary, but fun. Brice got sick after that ride so we stopped going on rides. My favorite show was the Water World show. I have no pics because Brice recorded most of it. I would have seen it again if time allowed. They had awesome pyrotechnics and the water stunts were awesome. We had a blast at Universal Studios and hope to take the kids there one day. Overall the trip went really well and the kids did so great with everyone. Thanks for the trip honey. Here's to the next ten years!!
Okay, we went to the Temple first and the USS Midway, but just go with it. This is an aircraft carrier that was supposed to be used for WWII, but it was finished eight days after the war was over so it was used for other wars. It is 1001 feet long and 250 feet wide. It is enormous and I think it could be its own city its so big. We got there and we only had about two hours to see everything and you need way more time than that. But we managed just fine. This is the flight strip where the planes would land. Behind Brice is where the captain and all of the important people were. We did take a tour up there, so I will post those pics later.

That guy is not real. He scared me when I turned the corner and there he was. They were all over the ship, I got used to them after a while.
These are the bunks where the lowest ranking sailors would stay. Three per side and really small!!
We got to go to the San Diego Temple and do a session. It was awesome. We actually went when it was the Spanish session. I was a little nervous to have to have a head set, but it worked out well. 
We asked some nice young man to take our picture. It was so awesome to be able to go to the Temple. This was such a nice trip. We had so much fun with each other and the kids had just as much fun back home. More to come later, thanks for looking.
We have established that I am not a good photographer, so here are some of the better pics. We arrived in San Diego and Thursday. We did go to Old Town, but did not take any pictures. We were not that impressed with Old Town, but we did enjoy the Mormon Battalion Museum. On Friday we spent the whole day at Sea World. You need a whole day and maybe even a half day to see it all. This is Brice in front of the huge Octopus. I must say that going in October was the best. We never waited in line for anything and if we did it was less than ten minutes.

This is the Shamu show. It was AWESOME!! I would have seen it twice but they only did it one time that day. It is the only show you can get front row seats, but you will get wet!!

This show was awesome to. It is the sea lions and otter show. Of course they had a Halloween theme and it was good. It is amazing they can get those animals to do what they do. We also saw the dolphin show, but was not impressed. It was more about the acrobatics than the dolphins. It was okay, but compared to the Shamu show we were let down a little bit. We had a great time at Sea World and I can't wait to take the kids.
I had to show another pic of the awesome cake. I almost didn't want to cut into the cake because it looked so good. Ember has a pair of these pink sparkly shoes that she loves to wear. So Kenzie came up with this awesome cake for her birthday. It turned out great.
Here is a pic of some of the stuff she got. As you can see she would not look at me. She got a princess chair, an outfit, a purse, princess book, princess blanket, a bed tent, a purse puppy, princess musical instruments and snow white attire, from her brother!! She is such a little cutie. She weights 25 pounds and it right at the middle of the chart on her weight. I can't remember how tall she is, but she is at the 60% for her height. She is growing fast, but she will not speak. She says momma, no, yea, please and sometimes dadda. She just doesn't want to talk right now. It gets a little frustrating, but she will get there. She loves milk and any kind of juice. She is my fruit girl and will eat any kind of fruit but she likes grapes the most. She isn't a breakfast girl, but loves her dinners. She loves princess, especially Snow White and loves to play with her brother. She loves to ride her trike and loves to be outside. We are truly blessed to have her in our lives. We love you baby girl!!
Where does the time go, Ember turned 2 on October 15th. She wasn't quite sure what was going on, but she loved what she got. Here she is sitting in her princess chair. She was so excited to see this.
Here she is opening her presents, with the help of her big brother. He loved helping her open gifts, even though they were girl presents.

Here is Ember blowing out her candles. The AWESOME cake was made by Kenzie. Ember has these sparkling pink princess shoes and so Kenzie made a princess shoe cake. I got a better picture that I will post later. The cake was so cool, it looked like her shoe. She loved it and it tasted great to.
Okay, Sarah, Victoria, and Weston all came for a visit at the first of October. I have more pics, but my camera is goofy so this will have to do for now. Here is Tayson and Victoria before they left the next day. They had so much fun together. Tayson is so sad that don't live close, but maybe one day that will happen, until then we will enjoy the visits.
I got to watch Weston for a little bit and he is sooo cute!! Ember did not know what to think of her cousin. They played well together, mostly because Weston is so mellow he balances out Ember!!
I had to get this look on photo. Brice calls it the Casey look and it looks like Casey!! We were so glad we got to see them. We were sad we didn't get to see Casey and Daxton, but maybe next time!!
